Where does the food information come from
Eat-It is a food consumption tracking program that can be used to record and track the food you eat.
Please read the "Version.txt" and "License.txt" files for more information.
Where does the food information come from
Most of the food information in the Standard Food List comes from the USDA Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, Release 15 - “Composition of Foods Raw, Processed, Prepared”. This database was reformatted and converted into the standard text file format that Eat-It uses. Some of the food information was inserted manually from the USDA label on the food packaging.
